CFB Borden

I just spent the better part of April and May 2001 at Canadian Forces Base Borden. Borden (pronounced boredom) is one of the premiere training bases in Canada and around the world (now I say boredom as there is not an awful lot that is obvious to do there - unless you run, or bike or hike or walk - the base is quite spectacular unless you are lazy like I was for most of the time). I think I saw every uniform from every allied country in the world at the mess this past month. There was even an Australian contingent on my course. Perhaps the world is now a safer place now that I am a qualified Advanced RadSO..... mwhahahaha

The base has quite a history and I have captured only a small part of it. These are the Land Force assets from days gone by on display throughout the base as a reminder of conflicts and peaces past. Next time I am there I will take photos of the Air Assets of days gone by. Please comment and reminisce to your hearts content.
