Thanks, tried the one window but I felt it did not do what i was looking for in this picture. He looks a lot less lonely with only one empty window. I was quite a distance away on the second floor of another building set back and partially hidden, he still had eyes on!

Another Inukchuk that I thought was so cool. This friend stood on Hwy 69 between Parry Sound and Sudbury (To give all our non Canadian friends a perspective, Shania Twain hails from Sudbury). Sorry Ed, no shots of Shania, but I did see a photo of her in a friend's yearbook!!!

Finally a nice weekend and a long weekend to boot. This is out new hanging plant gracing the side of our deck. We are heading out this week to get more and have them all around the deck.

I have no idea what type of flower this is but I know that I like it. This shot has to be one of my favourites.

I still like these flowers a lot even though I don't know what they are. This is shot a little further back, I changed the aperture and used the sun instead of a flash. A few adjustments in Lightroom3 but this is pretty much as shot.

I took this photo a few years ago in the Niagara Region of Ontario. It was January and we just had an ice storm that coated the grape vines in this wine region. It was sunset which helped to set off the light show that you now see. All I had with me was a very low res point and shoot. But I think that helps to age this photo - kinda like shooting with my old Brownie.

Meet my Moose!!! I have been travelling through Algonquin Park for ten years and have never seen a moose. This week was a change. This guy was getting ready to cross the road. I saw him, stopped, he posed and took off into the forest. I spent the time before entering the park to set up my camera to focus on one spot and a number of other settings for light. This was taken at Sunset which is why we see the glare spots. The snow on the pines is just an added bonus!!! Enjoy my new friend.

My girl Allie always seems to show up at least every few months. Here is a new one taken a few minutes ago. Actually a few weeks ago now.

Porter decided he would decorate our tree this year. Notice that the decorations stop at a certain point. The effect is awesome, even Elf is impressed!!!

They have all kinds of neat artistic displays and we are welcome to take as many photos as we like. I will feature a few more from this shoot over the next week. This was an oh crap moment!!! Ginger is heading in and Scarlet is coming in on the other side in a classic Vizsla Raptor move!!! Yes the white dog jumped straight in the air. Good part, they were really only playing but the poor dogs that are the "victims" don't see it quite that way!!! What we don't see is Allie coming in at the other side. Playing VizslaRaptor style.

Rusty!!! My boy!!! Loved by his mom and dad Renata and Thomas!!! Living it up at my Hotel in Petawawa ... can you say Beer and Pizza Bones!!!

This is Rusty. A group of us rescued him in 2009 minutes before he was to be put down. Now two years later he is a very dynamic and a lively two year old. Yes, a stray at six months. He came to visit me in my hotel in Petawawa when I was working close to his home in Ottawa.
