Pleasure Pier

Galveston Texas Historical Pleasure Pier. The original Hotel on the Pier was destroyed by Hurricane Ike in 2008. Sorry but the original of this Photograph has been sold. Wolseley Barracks, London Ontario Canada. This is the old main gate for the base/garrison. The doors were just redone to original condition from the 1860s.

A nice day to sail. Harbour Front Toronto. I have posted this before in other Galleries but am loving this for the dailies. I waited over an hour for this shot. I saw the sailboat setting up to leave but he took his time so I did too. The nice part about waiting and setting up the shot is that this photo has not required very much editing (slight exposure correction) and I lucked out that no people were on the sidewalk. This was the shot I wanted!
